The counties highlighted in green are under a flood watch from tonight through Wednesday. The counties shown in light blue are under a winter storm watch for Wednesday. Additionally, Estill, Powell, Wolfe, Lee, and Menifee counties remain under a Flash Flood Advisory, which will expire tonight at 7 p.m.

Rain chances will remain elevated during this time with odds around 50% Monday and Tuesday, 40% Wednesday and 60% Thursday. Temperatures will trend warmer by Thursday, so the risk of storms will grow, too. Cooler and mainly dry is the call for Valentine’s Day Friday, a sweet treat for those planning something big!

Heavy rainfall will return by Tuesday, sticking around for several days and bringing a risk of flash flooding. Areas north of I-20 could see over 5 inches of rain.

Monday will be quiet during the day as we see partly to mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be seasonal as they climb into the mid to upper 40s for highs. Another system brings more rain back into the area after midnight with snow mixing in at times. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid-30s.
