Justine Henin has weighed in on Carlos Alcaraz's form ahead of the ATP Finals. The Belgian expressed uncertainty about the Spaniard's ability to deliver his best tennis on indoor courts.

ATP World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz had almost a full month off between the Japan Open and the Rolex Paris Masters. Despite entering the final Masters 1000 of the year feeling good, Alcaraz suffered an early upset.

Carlos Alcaraz’s conduct was questioned by a fellow tennis star who has since lifted the lid on their first meeting. The Spaniard, who recently lost his world No. 1 crown to Jannik Sinner, is preparing for the end-of-year ATP Finals where he will hope to regain his spot at the top of the rankings.

Despite making several improvements in recent months, Carlitos still struggles to be effective in indoor conditions and his difficulties are exacerbated by the fact that his huge rival Jannik Sinner is almost unstoppable in these conditions having just won the Vienna ATP 500 and the Paris Masters 1000 in sequence.

He uncoils with a loose arm to generate immense racquet head speed without an overly exaggerated swing path.
