An incoming winter storm is expected to bring freezing rain, snow, sleet and ice during the Thursday morning commute across the NYC area. Here are timing and impacts for your area.

Days after Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter, a nasty ice storm packing sleet, snow and freezing rain will blast the East Coast on Thursday morning—and two more winter storms are also in the forecast for late Friday and next week.

According to James Tomasini, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, the five boroughs are in range to receive a general 1 to 2 inches of snowfall at the onset of Thursday morning’s winter storm.
