The last time Apple completely overhauled the iPhone's operating system was with iOS 7 in 2013. It appears as though 12 years has been long enough. Apple is reportedly preparing a major visual overhaul for iPhones with iOS 19,

iOS 19 could bring a whole new look to your iPhone, according to Mark Gurman at Bloomberg. Gurman, who has a solid track record when it comes to Apple's developments, predicts a redesign impacting the software's "icons, menus, apps, windows and system buttons" is on the way.

Apple is reportedly giving iOS 19 a visionOS-inspired design makeover, and a leak might have shown us what it will look like.

Bloomberg says the design updates will be the biggest for the Mac since macOS Big Sur and the biggest for iOS since iOS 7. However, Bloomberg notes that Apple isn’t going to merge its operating systems.
