Goalie Marcus Hogberg, activated off injured reserve and making his first start in six weeks, was tested early and often as Isles struggled a night after beating Sharks.

Sam Colangelo scored twice, Lukas Dostal stopped 31 shots and the Anaheim Ducks beat the New York Islanders 4-1 on Sunday night. Drew Helleson and Mason McTavish also scored for the Ducks. Tony DeAngelo spoiled Dostal's shutout bid with just under 5 minutes remaining,

The Islanders had seven defensemen in their lineup Sunday, and at times, not one of them looked willing to lay a hit. It’s been a quiet through line for much of the season, the lack of edge and physicality inherent in their game.
