Oklahoma's Tate Sandell was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Year after an incredible 2025 season.
It'll be an All-SEC matchup in the first round when Alabama travels to face Oklahoma in the CFP first round.

The Oklahoma Sooners are readying themselves for the most crucial game of the season, and perhaps the Brent Venables era, when they host the Alabama Crimson Tide next Friday in the first round of the College Football Playoff. After a 10-2 season, which included a 6-2 mark in SEC play, six Sooners were named to the AP All-SEC teams.
Alabama and Oklahoma will face each other in the College Football Playoff just a month after they squared off in Tuscaloosa.
Sooners rookies Courtland Guillory and Tory Blaylock each earned a spot on the Southeastern Conference postseason, but one major Sooner contributor was omitted.
Oklahoma's 11 total first-, second- or third-team honors ranked second in the league, behind only Georgia's 12.
