Director Paul Feig has yet again stood up for Blake Lively during her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni. Following the premiere announcement of A Simple Favor sequel Another Simple Favor, the filmmaker defended Lively as an "amazing collaborator.

There will be an opening night film at SXSW and that’s the Paul Feig directed black comedy sequel Another Simple Favor from Amazon MGM Studios on March 7. The title reps a return for Amazon MGM Studios to SXSW opening night festivities;

Both actresses have reprised their roles, as has Henry Golding, who played Lively’s onscreen husband in the first film, alongside Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Sati

The sequel to Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively's 2018 comedic thriller, A Simple Favor, has been titled Another Simple Favor. The Paul Feig directorial is all set as SXSW's opening night premiere. Feig also went on to announce that the film will premiere on Prime Video on May 1.
