Starz dropped the first trailer for its hit series Power Book III: Raising Kanan ‘s fourth season (above) and things are heating up. The show returns with new episodes on March 7.

Starz released a trailer for Season 4 of Power Book III: Raising Kanan on Tuesday. The show provides an origin story for Kanan, portrayed by MeKai Curtis, before he became the villain in Power. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson portrayed the older version of Kanan in the 2014 series.

The family business gets more complicated - and deadly - in the latest batch of episodes that feature new cast additions like Pardison Fontaine, 'SNL' alum Chris Redd, Sibongile Mlambo and Paul Ben-Victor.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 4 has confirmed its release date. Starz has announced that the spin-off prequel series focusing on the early days of gangster Kanan Stark (first played by 50 Cent, now played by Mekai Curtis) will be back on Friday, March 7 in the US. New episodes will then drop every Friday.
