Alabama made a huge splash when it hired Ryan Grubb as offensive coordinator, reuniting the assistant with Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer. The two have worked together at the collegiate level for almost 10 years through stops at Sioux Falls,

But Grubb was sticking with the head coach with whom he’d through the ranks from the back roads of Sioux Falls to the pinnacle of the college game. He was a Kalen DeBoer guy, enough so to follow him to Tuscaloosa last January to accept the gig he rebuffed a year earlier.

Former Alabama quarterback, Greg McElroy feels Ryan Grubb has the ability to create problems for defenses. Grubb is now Alabama football’s offensive coordinator after a year in Seattle as the Seahawks’ offensive coordinator.
