The wrestling world mourns the death of Sabu, a former ECW champion and pro wrestling legend, who died Sunday at age 60.

Sabu, a "hardcore" professional wresting legend whose real name was Terry Brunk, has died at 60 years old, WWE announced Sunday.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and WWE confirmed his death in a social media post on May 11, 2025. However, the cause of his death was not announced. Taking to X, it wrote: “AEW and the wrestling world mourns the passing of Sabu.
