New Seahawk DeMarcus Lawrence found himself in a social media feud with former Dallas teammate Micah Parsons after his comments on the Cowboys' Super Bowl chances.

Just a day after he left Dallas, Lawrence dropped a harsh message to the Cowboys and their fans in an interview with a Seahawks blogger, claiming to have left because Dallas is never going to win a Super Bowl.

Cowboys superstar outside linebacker Micah Parsons blasted Lawrence for suggesting he left Dallas because he didn't think that team could win a Super Bowl with a very pointed social media post.

DeMarcus Lawrence played for the Dallas Cowboys for 11 years, and the team never made it past the divisional round of the playoffs in his six postseason appearances there. In fact, the Cowboys haven't gotten past the divisional round since winning the Super Bowl during the 1995 season.

He may have a deep affinity for Dallas, but DeMarcus Lawrence apparently doesn't have much love for his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, who employed him during his first 11 NFL seasons. Lawrence, a four-time Pro Bowler who recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks,

In a YouTube interview with Seahawks blogger Brian Nemhauser at the team’s practice facility in Renton, Wash. Lawrence addressed his move to the Pacific Northwest after eleven years in Dallas. “Dallas is my home. Made my home there, my family lives there, I’m forever gonna be there,” Lawrence said.

Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence are clashing over whether the Dallas Cowboys are Super Bowl contenders. Lawrence, who recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks after 11 seasons with the Cowboys, said in a Thursday interview with Hawk Blogger he considers Dallas his home but knows "for sure I'm not going to win a Super Bowl there.
