The investor who became a household name after predicting the 2008 crash and inspiring the film The Big Short has made a spectacular $1.5 billion move that could spell trouble.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the book “The Big Short,” in which writer Michael Lewis chronicled the people who profited big during the 2008 financial crisis by betting against the housing market before its bubble burst.
