Logan Cooley is here to stay. The Utah Mammoth center signed an eight-year contract extension to remain a significant part of the organization for years to come. This signing secures another part of Utah’s core to a long-term deal, as the Mammoth push towards becoming a perennial contender.

The 21-year-old third overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft signed an eight-year, $80 million contract extension Wednesday with the Utah Mammoth to remain in the Beehive State through 2033.

The Utah Mammoth announced that center, Logan Cooley, will be signing an eight-year contract extension with the team.

The Mammoth unveiled their new mascot on the night of their home opener. Thanks to what one can only assume is Tusky's shrewd leadership behind the scenes, Utah has won seven straight games since he entered the picture. Most recently, Dylan Guenther's goal propelled the Mammoth to a 3-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.

The Utah Mammoth have been on a roll to start the 2025-2026 season. Utah’s in its sophomore NHL season and has had an excellent showing in its first nine games.

Against the Wild, it was another high-flying start for Logan Cooley, who opened the scoring for the Mammoth with a remarkable backhanded goal, that got Utah Mammoth's offense started.
