The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning at 3:01 p.m. on Monday valid from Tuesday 4 p.m. until Wednesday 7 a.m. for Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May counties.

Arlington and the rest of the D.C. area are gearing up for significant snowfall. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning this afternoon, to take effect at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Some 4-8 inches of snow are expected to fall by the time the flakes taper off Wednesday morning.
