Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Sony Pictures announced additional casting for The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event on Friday. Saoirse Ronan, Anna Sawai, Aimee Lou Wood and Mia McKenna-Bruce will play women in the Beatles' lives.
The four biographical films about 'The Beatles', one for each member, have confirmed the actresses who will play their partners.

Cast filling up for new Beatles movies
They will embody Maureen Starkey (McKenna-Bruce), Linda McCartney (Ronan), Yoko Ono (Sawai) and Pattie Boyd (Wood) in four feature films, one from the perspective of each band member. The films directed by the British director Sam Mendes will follow the lives of the famous four, and the premiere is scheduled for April 2028.
Oscar nominee Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney. Babygirl breakout Harris Dickinson will be John Lennon. The Banshees of Inisherin Best Supporting Actor nominee Barry Keoghan will play Ringo Starr. Stranger Things and The Fantastic Four: First Steps actor Joseph Quinn will be George Harrison.
