NFL free agency starts Monday with something of a soft launch as players on expiring deals can begin negotiating with outside teams.
NFL free agency is right around the corner, as the combine starts this week. Once the final numbers are in, everyone's attention will pivot back to the marketplace, where plenty of big names will still reside.
The New England Patriots did a great job in free agency in 2025, and it helped them reach the Super Bowl. Those types of situations are rare. The market usually isn't flush with talent and instead is littered with older players on the decline who aren't what their names say they are anymore.
It's time for NFL free agency to start – unofficially, of course – as Monday opens the so-called legal tampering period. Follow the moves here.
