Wednesday marks former President Jimmy Carter’s first birthday since his passing in December 2024. He would have been 101.
USPS confirmed the launch of Jimmy Carter's stamp earlier this year and it is now available for purchase at $15.60.
A USPS spokesperson previously said it was "difficult to consider a more fitting honoree" than the 39th president.
The former president will travel from his hometown to Atlanta by motorcade, and first lie in repose in the Carter Center, his post-presidency foundation. He then will be flown to Washington, D.C.
