The Houston Texans, after spending their past two games on the road against the Baltimore Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks, will finally be returning back home at NRG Stadium to kick off a three-game home stand in Week 8 vs. the San Francisco 49ers.

For the Texans, CJ Stroud threw for 229 yards with one touchdown and an interception in the losing effort. Derek Stingley, the No. 3 overall pick in 2022, had an interception during the game. Stingley was involved in an incident involving Smith-Njigba on the sidelines.

The Houston Texans will be getting one of their rookies back from Injured Reserve in Week 8 vs. the San Francisco 49ers. According to a team announcement, the Texans have elevated cornerback Jaylin Smith from Injured Reserve, as he looks to make his return after missing four games of action.

The San Francisco 49ers on Saturday elevated Trevis Gipson and Nick Zakelj from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.
