CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The 130th installment of the “South’s Oldest Rivalry” pits No. 16 Virginia (6-1, 3-0 ACC) against North Carolina (2-4, 0-2) on Saturday (Oct. 25) at Kenan Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon, with live coverage on ACC Network and the Virginia Sports Radio Network.
For BYU: Wing AJ Dybantsa, the Cougars’ highest-rated recruit of all time, had 30 points and seven rebounds while shooting 52.6% from the field in the loss to Nebraska in his first game in a BYU jersey. Guard Richie Saunders is a first-team All-Big 12 performer who averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
The No. 16 Cavaliers remain one of the top contenders for the ACC championship. The lone loss for Virginia was in Week 2 at North Carolina State, but that matchup was scheduled as a non-conference game, so it doesn’t count in the ACC standings.
