Monterey's Aaliyah Chavez is the country's No. 1 girls basketball recruit and Saturday led team to a 64-35 win over Liberty Hill for a state title.

Chavez lived up to the hype in her final game, winning the state championship in the same month she will announce her highly anticipated college commitment.
