San Diego-based fast-food chain Jack in the Box is closing up to 200 restaurants across the nation as part of a financial plan that includes the potential sale of its Del Taco brand.

Jack in the Box has announced that it will close the restaurants, in addition to possibly selling the Del Taco chain, acquired in 2022.

Jack in the Box plans to close up to 200 of its restaurants and is considering the sale of its Del Taco brand, the company said in a news release.
