Multiple winter weather-related alerts are in place across parts of New York, as well as further south in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Another winter storm is expected to hit Toronto and its surrounding areas mid-week that could bring more than 15 centimetres of snow, Environment Canada says.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning at 3:01 p.m. on Monday valid from Tuesday 4 p.m. until Wednesday 7 a.m. for Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May counties.
