Both the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers may be without multiple key players in Sunday night's matchup.
In the final four minutes of the game, Butler had just two shot attempts, both of which were missed tip-ins after Stephen Curry missed a layup. He otherwise had no stats in that stretch. Just the two offensive rebounds from that one sequence.
Curry, who torched the Blazers all night, had a crucial flub in the closing seconds, missing an open driving layup with 29 seconds left. He also committed a backbreaking turnover, fumbling away the ball under relentless pressure from Toumani Camara and Shaedon Sharpe with 15 seconds left.
Rupert played for the Rip City Remix in the G League on Monday, tallying 12 points (5-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 14 rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block across 32 minutes. He'll add depth to the Blazers on the wings, but it's unclear if he'll see any meaningful minutes. The Blazers' next game will be against the Kings on Thursday.
