The transfer portal is in full swing - and the University of Michigan with new coach Kyle Whittingham is right in the middle of it.
Whittingham, the longtime Utah coach, has also hired former Utes defensive ends coach Lewis Powell to the Michigan staff. Defensive line Lou Esposito, in charge of the tackles, was one of three coaches retained from the last Michigan staff.
