Patrick Kane is returning to the Detroit Red Wings on a one-year contract. It is a deal that will surely benefit both parties.

Detroit — For the second consecutive year, the Red Wings and Patrick Kane took negotiations to the eve of free agency. The Wings and Kane worked out a deal on Monday night — one year for $3 million.
