As announced this evening, the Panthers have been awarded cornerback MJ Devonshire off waivers. The 24-year-old defender was waived by the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday afternoon, prior to the start of the second day of the 2025 NFL draft.

As it happens, Miller was the player the Raiders ended up selecting in that 2018 draft after trading down with the Cardinals. And though Clelin Ferrell was a huge swing and a miss in the 2019 draft, they would land Maxx Crosby in round four of that draft.
