Olivia Wilde just landed a massive hit in the snow. The director and co-star of “The Invite,” a couples dramedy that plays out over one night in a San Francisco apartment, unveiled the film on Saturday at the Sundance Film Festival.
Wilde went the indie route on the relationship comedy, which bows at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday, to ensure she could take a few big creative swings, including a weeks-long workshop and shooting in order.
Sundance's Beyond Film talks and events lineup will also include insights from Salman Rushdie, Ta-Nehisi Coates, John Turturro, Nicole Holofcener, Ava DuVernay, and Billie Jean King.
The celebrated Sundance Film Festival, opening Thursday in Park City, Utah, includes films starring Natalie Portman, Olivia Wilde, Seth Rogen and Charli XCX, plus a wide range of documentaries.
