Raiders majority owner Mark Davis introduced Carroll as the 24th coach in his franchise’s history, and its fifth since it moved to Las Vegas in 2020, Monday morning at the team’s Henderson headquarters.

Carroll wants everyone in the organization to continually strive to get better, saying "You're either competing or you're not."

The 73-year-old Carroll clearly took the Raiders head coaching job because of the "one-in-a-lifetime" opportunity to work with the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
