A Louisiana good Samaritan helped a police officer chase shoplifters by offering her car during dramatic pursuit at a store in Slidell.

A second arrest has been made in the shootings in West 7th that left one person dead and five others wounded in early October​, Fort Worth Police Chief Eddie Garcia said.

Law enforcement is investigating after a man and woman were found dead in a vehicle Wednesday at a Roseville shopping center. At Crossroads Center of Roseville, across from Rosedale Center, a customer reported seeing two people who appeared to be passed out in a vehicle. Police and fire were dispatched just before 2 p.m.

Investigators did not name the victims or explain what happened. Residents of the building were stunned by the deaths of cherished neighbors.

The children were last seen in the area of West High Street in Elizabethtown at around 5:15 p.m., according to police.

Authorities say Hollywood police Lt. Osvaldo Perez, 50, surrendered at Broward Main Jail on domestic battery charges involving a victim over 65. His bond was set at $75,000.
