A woman died after being hit by a car while crossing near Marconi Avenue in Sacramento. The driver stayed at the scene, and no drugs or alcohol were suspected.

The fatal collision happened about 1:30 p.m., as the woman crossed Marconi Avenue from the south just west of Burnece Street, said the CHP.
