KERRVILLE, Texas (AP) — Emergency crews suspended their search for victims of catastrophic flooding in central Texas on Sunday morning amid new warnings that additional rain would again cause waterways to surge. It was the first time a new round of severe weather has paused the search since the flooding earlier this month.

Emergency crews resumed search efforts in Kerr County after floods paused operations. Over 130 are dead, 160+ missing across Central Texas as rain threatens again.

More than 2,100 searchers from a dozen Texas Counties, other states and Mexico are continuing recovery efforts to find more victims of the deadly flash flooding in central Texas.
