While Travis Hunter heard his name almost immediately in the 2025 NFL Draft when the Jacksonville Jaguars took him at No. 2 overall, his buddy and former Colorado Buffaloes teammate had to wait until the fifth round and the 144th overall pick to get selected by the Cleveland Browns.

Once the Titans took Ward and the Browns were on the clock, the trade was officially announced with Jacksonville sending the No. 5, No. 36 and No. 126 picks in the 2025 NFL draft and a 2026 first-round pick to Cleveland for the Nos. 2, 104 and 200 overall picks in the 2025 draft.

Cleveland sent pick No. 2, as well as No. 104 in the fourth round and No. 200 in the sixth round to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team confirmed. The Browns received pick No. 5, along with No. 36 (second round) and No. 126 (fourth round) in this year's draft and a 2026 first-round pick.
