The BRIT Awards 2025 have unveiled this year’s most nominated artist Charli XCX as the recipient of the BRITs Songwriter Of The Year award. The UK star is nominated for five BRIT awards, the highest number of any artist this year, for Artist Of The Year, Mastercard Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year with Mastercard, Dance Act and Pop Act.

We’re still a few days away from the actual Brits ceremony but it’s been confirmed that Charli XCX has already won one award: Songwriter Of The Year. And to go alongside it, her longstanding producer AG Cook has been confirmed as Producer Of The Year for his work on Brat.

Charli XCX will be awarded the Songwriter of the Year honour at the 2025 BRIT Awards on Saturday. The Guess singer will receive the honour at The O2 in London on 1 March in recognition of the success of her 2024 album Brat.
