A man died, a firefighter and two others were injured, and 19 people were displaced when a multi-family Hartford home burned to the ground over the weekend.

Half of Hartford’s fire department responded to a house fire in the city where 19 people have been displaced and four people, including a firefighter, have been injured. The Hartford Fire Department responded to 45 Fenwick St at 1:48 p.

A man who was rescued from a fire at a multi-family home in Hartford on Saturday has died. Firefighters responded to the fire at 45 Fenwick Street around 1:50 p.m. They encountered heavy fire on the rear porches of the building.

The department responded to a home on Crystal Place, and helped to evacuate two people living there along with their dog.

According to officials, six adults and three children were relocated by the American Red Cross. The Hartford Fire District Chief said there were no injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
