The new move joins other McDonald’s in major cities like Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Louisville, which already serve the treats. More than half of all McDonald’s restaurants in the United States are set to serve Krispy Kreme doughnuts by the end of the year.

CHARLOTTE, NC. — Points of access, especially at McDonald’s restaurants, continued to increase for Krispy Kreme, Inc. in the fiscal year ended Dec. 29, 2024, but a cybersecurity incident cut into of fourth-quarter sales, resulting in the company’s stock price plunging.

In the fourth quarter, Krispy Kreme saw revenue of $404 million, down 10.4% from the prior-year quarter, while adjusted non-GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) earnings per share sank 89% to $0.01. Both figures missed analyst expectations.
