CINCINNATI — Bengals veteran linebacker Logan Wilson formally requested a trade after being benched for rookie linebacker Barrett Carter.

The Cincinnati Bengals made a seemingly innocent roster move ahead of kickoff against the New York Jets in Week 8. There, the Bengals elevated Joe Giles-Harris from the practice squad to the active roster for the game. Not a big deal, considering the Jets will start quarterback Justin Fields and see to run the ball early and often.

Bengals insist Hendrickson is not available, but ESPN links Bills, Cowboys, and Colts to LB Logan Wilson as teams call on multiple defenders.
