The Trump administration is preparing to revoke legal status for many migrants who entered the United States under a Biden-era program, according to a source familiar with the planning, expanding the pool of people who could be deported.

In a quite recent development it has come to light that US President Donald Trump is planning to revoke the legal status and then deport the migrants who entered US under former US President Joe Biden- era special program.

More than a million migrants who were allowed to enter the United States during the Biden administration may have their temporary stays revoked and be rapidly deported, according to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement document that became public Friday.

The Department of Homeland Security has empowered federal immigration officials to bypass protections for hundreds of thousands of migrants who entered the country legally through Biden administration programs and begin immediate and rapid deportations,

A memo appears to allow Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials to target programs that let in more than a million people.

This will revoke legal entry for over 530,000 and initiate deportation for those without additional immigration benefits.
