A father and son were shot in Northeast Philadelphia's Holmesburg neighborhood Sunday night, police said. The shooting happened on the 4700 block of Vista Street at around 6:30 p.m., according to police.

On Friday, Governor Josh Shapiro announced new state funding for food banks across Pennsylvania.
