Days after Sweden witnessed its worst mass shooting in history, several media reports have identified Rickard Andersson, 35, as the man behind the deadly attack. Earlier, the Swedish police confirmed that the shooter was ‘unemployed’ and ‘a recluse’.

Andersson was said to be a recluse who had maintained little contact with his family for years before tragedy unfolded at Risbergska School in Orebro

Here's what we know so far. The suspect was unknown to police and they believe he acted alone. Officers said he had no links to gangs and is thought to have acted "without any ideological motive". They also do not believe the attack was motivated by terrorism.
