The deal has been reported by Derek Bodner of PHLY to be a one year deal for the veteran’s minimum. Gordon’s initial salary was also the minimum, but by signing a new one he actually makes a little bit more money while it benefits the Sixers’ cap sheet as well.

Eric Gordon remained a 76er after all. The shooting guard re-signed with the team Tuesday on a one-year, veteran minimum contract. That came two days after Gordon declined his $3.4 million player option for next season.

After close to four hours into free agency, they reached their first deal. Trendon Watford, a 6-foot-9 power forward, will receive a two-year, $5.3 million contract, according to sources. He can sign his deal after noon Sunday. Per a source, Watford’s acquisition makes it unlikely that post player Guerschon Yabusele will return.
