LOS ANGELES (AP) — A rare October storm pummeled parts of Southern California with heavy rain and strong winds Tuesday, threatening wildfire-scarred neighborhoods with the possibility of mudslides and prompting some evacuations.
On Tuesday at 9:47 a.m. a red flag warning was released by the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA in effect until Wednesday at 6 p.m. The warning is for Southeastern Ventura County Valleys, Santa Susana Mountains and Western San Gabriel Mountains and Highway 14 Corridor.
