Payments may be made at the Ross County Treasurer's office in the Ross County Courthouse located at the corner of Paint and Main Streets in downtown Chillicothe.

The County Treasurer is responsible for the collection of real estate, manufactured home and estate taxes. The Treasurer also collects all payments received by the county.

To find out the amount of tax owed or to obtain a duplicate tax bill, please call the Treasurer's office at 740-702-3080 or email your request to [email protected]

This service allows you to authorize the Treasurer to debit your checking or savings account to pay your property taxes automatically on a monthly, semi-annual, or annual basis.

Credit card payments may be made online, by telephone or in person at the Treasurer’s office. Transactions completed by midnight on the due date are timely and will not be charged a penalty.
