Dec 28, 2024 · A few recent T-Mobile locked phones (one of them is Revvl, another one - I do not remember) do not work with T-Mobile MVNOs. They do not pop-up "enter unlock code" message, they accept SIM card but do not see any network. I suspect that at least many of ( or even all) 5G compatible T-Mobile locked phones do not work with T-Mobile NVNOs.

Jan 25, 2009 · All T-Mobile MVNOs to my knowledge may be used on a locked T-Mobile phone. Lycamobile is NOT a T-Mobile MVNO. They are an international SIM card that uses the T-Mobile network. I do not know a technical term to describe them and how it is different from an MVNO. One result is that they need an unlocked GSM phone.

Jun 24, 2011 · I'm sure T-Mobile customer service can block data on a line (even though it comes with the $10 add a line.) They didn't ask for a phone that didn't text. So either of the two phones that T-Mobile currently sells will work. Just move the SIM over. If the SIM is too small, a store should be able to add the right size SIM to the account.
