This ‘barn find’ 1968 Austin Mini Cooper MK2 recently went under the hammer at the Anglia Car Auctions November 2025 Classic sale. The vendor had owned the car since 1974 and it was laid up in 1983. The Mini is no longer on the DVLA’s database, and was being sold as a restoration project. The vendor rebuilt the engine at approximately 105k miles, and the odometer, at the time of sale, was showing 64,691 (corresponds to 164,691 miles).
