How absolutely awesome is the VERY old-school Giant Dipper at Belmont Park?! 😍 I love my classic wooden coasters, and they don't get much better than this 1925 beauty! It features a very compact, almost twister type layout, with most hills being heavily banked or curved. Which definitely makes it more intense than a lot of other classic woodies! 🎢🙌 It's a crazy bone shaker, and is absolute must ride if you're in the San Diego/SoCal area Enjoy my on-ride footage filmed last month 💕 | Diary of

It's crazy to think that this year the Giant Dipper AND Belmont Park both turn 100 years old! 😍 Opening on 4th July 1925, this gem of a wooden coaster is always a must ride for me when visiting California 🙌 Belmont Park as a whole, just has that awesome classic boardwalk feel to it, and Mission Beach is just a really nice area as well, so it's always worth a visit in my books! Oh, and the track work that's recently been carried out on the Giant Dipper has done wonders for the ride experience!
