Anglia Television came on air for the first time 60 years ago this weekend. It was the 27th October 1959 when Anglia became the second channel on your TV, the average cost of a house was £2,000 and the average weekly wage was just over a tenner. A gang wearing balaclavas have used a construction vehicle to rip an ATM from a Sainsbury’s store in Milton Keynes. The gang then loaded the stolen cashpoint onto another vehicle before quickly driving off. The Sainsbury’s in Brooklands Square is currently closed and Thames Valley police say enquiries are ongoing. #itvnews | ITV Anglia
