We don’t just collect Nurdles, using vacuum allows us to collect plastic DUST too! It’s mind boggling seeing it in person and tried my best to capture it on camera. This is the stuff the filter feeders eat, and it accumulated in extremely high numbers on sandy beaches! Wow! What a first day. We went absolutely hell for leather all day clearing Watergate Bay. The nano plastic pollution down here is shocking and through our techniques, we can gather it all as well as the microplastics 😊 the vacuum is the right power just to prise the plastic from the sand and separate it out! Camber Sands Day 2 👇 This is EXACTLY what we wanted to happen. The big tides have shown us what me missed yesterday in this section and we were very quickly able to grab it up with our vacuums.
