I make and plant 100s of cuttings every year and consistently get good tuber production with them… and one of the reasons is that I plant them deep! It’s pretty simple actually: Take your 6 inch tall cuttings and remove the bottom two leaf sets and then plant the cuttings so that those leaf nodes are buried under soil.
