I used to boil my collards. But I have found that cooking them with just a little oil and a lid on the pot makes them so much better. I put two whole onions in this pot of collards. They also are beautiful planted in a pot but now the pot would have to be large. Because sometimes a collared leaf can be a foot long and 10 inches wide or bigger.
