How we built IBC tote grow beds inside our hoophouse using food-grade totes, gravel drainage, custom soil mix, rainwater catchment, and a programmable irrigation system. We used 22 IBC totes, 9 per side as raised garden beds and 4 in the back to collect rainwater from gutters installed on the outside of the hoophouse. Each bed includes gravel for drainage, landscape fabric lining, and 2 feet of our own soil mix. The system drains out the back of the hoophouse to prevent erosion and feeds into an
